McBluna OpenWrt for Zidoo Player

I’m proud to announce the release of McBluna OpenWrt for Zidoo Player.

Special thanks goes to jjm2473 for all his work and Thanos@Zidoo Forum.

After countless hours of reengineering, compiling and testing I’ve figured out how to build a working OpenWrt image for Zidoo Player.

The image should work on all Realtek RTD1296 based Zidoo Player. I own a Zidoo Z9S, so this is my only test platform. It would be very helpful if tests could be done on other Zidoo Players (Z10, X20, X20 Pro, Z1000, UHD2000) as well.

If someone asking for it and is willing to test, it should be possible to create an image for Realtek RTD1295 based Zidoo Player (X8, X9S, X10) as well.

    • you just have to update the zidoo with the package that it provides you. if it’s like installing any update, it couldn’t be easier.

  2. @rtd1295 unfortunately applied the update the upgrade process does not come to therefore remaining in stuck on “android system update screen”

  3. I’ve created a new config from scratch for RTD1295 beginning with Build r13630. For Build r13601 I’ve used the config for RTD1296 as base and this was really a bad idea…
